The face of the moon was in shadow

Almost before we knew it, we had left the ground. All their equipment and instruments are alive.Mist enveloped the ship three hours out from port. The spectacle before us was indeed sublime.A red flair silhouetted the jagged edge of a wing.

The NPO receives your name, phone, address and payment details itself and is a separate Data Fiduciary for that data. We do not receive your payment details for NPO purchases. If you ask us for help with an NPO order, we share only what is needed to follow it up.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in India on Zoho's India data centre, and with our other service providers. Some providers (such as Google and Meta) may process data outside India. Any transfer outside India follows the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

We may keep data longer only where the law requires or to deal with a legal claim. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

7. How we protect it

We use reasonable security safeguards, including HTTPS encryption on the Website, access controls on our Zoho accounts, limited staff access on a need-to-know basis, and confidentiality obligations on staff and processors. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your data and review our safeguards regularly.

Data breaches. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required by the DPDP Act and Rules, describing what happened, the likely impact and the steps we are taking.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  1. Access: get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it, and the identities of those we have shared it with.
  2. Correction and completion: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, or update it.
  3. Erasure: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed for the purpose, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  4. Withdraw consent at any time (section 3).
  5. Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so.
  6. Grievance redressal: complain to us, and if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.

To use these rights, write to swapnilgharat@nchs.co.in with the subject "Privacy request", or call +91 99692 07572. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond within the time the DPDP Rules set and in any case within 30 days.

Under the DPDP Act, you also have duties: please give accurate information, do not impersonate anyone, and do not file false or frivolous complaints.

9. Children

NetCart is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not track or target advertising at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

  • Essential cookies, set by our store platform (Zoho Commerce), needed for the cart, login, checkout and security. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4), to understand how visitors use the site.
  • Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel), to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Rewards widget (Zoho Thrive), which also loads Facebook's software kit. It loads only after you click Accept.

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you Accept or Reject analytics and advertising cookies. Until you click Accept, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel do not load (we use Google Consent Mode with everything set to "denied" by default). If you click Reject, they stay off. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser.

Choices saved on your device. We save two small settings in your browser's local storage, not on our servers: nc-consent remembers your Accept or Reject choice, and nc-theme remembers the colour theme you pick on the site. Neither is used to track you, and you can delete them by clearing site data in your browser.

We do not use any other analytics, advertising or remarketing tags on the Website. We will update this list before adding any new tag.

11. Links to other sites

The Website links to other sites, such as NPO payment pages, WhatsApp, YouTube and software publishers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

12. Grievance Officer

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will show a notice on the Website or email account holders. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.

Returns, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

This policy applies to orders placed on NetCart (https://www.netcart.co.in), operated by NetCom Hardware Services, a proprietorship of Saurabh Somani, Shop No. 7, Shree Laxmi Apt, opposite Goderja Plaza, Panvel 410206, Raigad, Maharashtra (GSTIN 27AVTPS9796H1Z8).

Software and Tally licencesFree until the licence is activated or the key is issuedNon-refundable once activated or issued, except if defective (see section 3)
HardwareFree until dispatch; also after dispatch if delivery is lateNot returnable for change of mind, but always taken back if defective, damaged, wrong or not as described
NPO productsWith the NPO, which you paid directlyHandled by the NPO, which is the seller

1. Defective-goods exception (applies to everything we sell)

Whatever any product page says, including a "Non-returnable" label, we will take back, replace, repair or refund any goods or services we sold that are:

  • defective (do not work as they should when delivered or installed),
  • deficient (the service was not delivered as promised),
  • damaged in transit,
  • spurious (not genuine), or
  • not as described on the Website (wrong item, model, specification or quantity), or
  • delivered late compared with the delivery time we promised.

How to report:

  1. Contact us at swapnilgharat@nchs.co.in or +91 99692 07572 with your order number, a short description and photos or a video.
  2. Report transit damage, missing or wrong items within 48 hours of delivery. Report other defects within 7 days of delivery or installation. After 7 days, defects are handled under the manufacturer's warranty (for goods) or any warranty stated on your job receipt (for services), and we help you with the claim.
  3. We may inspect the item, ask for photos, or ask the manufacturer's service centre to confirm the defect. Returning a defective, damaged, wrong or late item costs you nothing: we collect it free within our service area, and outside it we arrange or pay for the return. We do not accept change-of-mind returns of opened or installed hardware (section 4), so there is no return shipping charge to pay in any case.
  4. If we confirm the problem, you can choose a replacement, a repair or a full refund.

This exception does not cover damage caused after delivery by misuse, accidents, liquid, power surges, or repair or opening by someone else.

2. IT services

Cancellation and rescheduling

  1. Before the visit: you can cancel or reschedule free of charge at any time until our engineer leaves for your visit, or until work starts at our service centre or remotely. You get a full refund if you have paid.
  2. After the engineer has visited: if you cancel at the visit, or after the diagnosis, the diagnosis charge shown on the service page (currently ₹249 at our service centre or ₹500 onsite) is kept, because the diagnosis has been done. The rest of the service plan price is refunded.
  3. Parts ordered for you: if you approve a quote and we order a part made for your specific model, and you then cancel, we may keep the actual non-refundable cost of that part, which we will tell you before ordering. If the part has not been ordered or can be returned to the supplier, we refund it in full.
  4. If we cancel: if we cannot provide the service (for example, outside the service area, part unavailable, or we cannot keep the agreed time and you do not accept a new one), we refund you in full.
  5. We do not charge any cancellation fee except as stated above.

If we cannot fix the fault

If we find that the fault cannot be fixed, or the repair is not worth doing, we tell you before doing more work. You pay only the diagnosis charge (where one applies) and any work or parts you approved in writing. We refund the rest of the service plan price.

Unhappy with the work

If the work was not done as described, or the same fault comes back because of our work, contact us. We will redo the work free or refund the charge for that work. Any warranty on our work is as stated on your job receipt or invoice. Parts carry the supplier's or manufacturer's warranty, and we handle the claim for you.

Services that cannot be undone

Data recovery, password recovery, data migration and similar services are best-effort. If the work was done as described, the charge is not refundable just because the result was not what you hoped, for example where data on a failing drive could not be recovered. If we recover nothing usable, we refund the service charge for that job (the diagnosis charge, where one applies, is kept).

Training and demo sessions

You can reschedule a training or demo session free of charge if you tell us at least 24 hours before the session. Sessions already delivered are not refundable. If you cancel a multi-session training plan part-way, unused sessions are refunded pro rata.

Annual support plans and AMCs

You can cancel an annual support plan or AMC at any time. We refund the unused period pro rata (by full months remaining), less the normal price of any visits or services already used beyond what the months used would cover. TSS renewals follow section 3.

3. Software and Tally licences

  1. Before activation: you can cancel a licence or renewal order for a full refund until the licence is activated on your account or the licence key or download is issued to you.
  2. Once activated: non-refundable. Software licences, including TallyPrime licences, are non-refundable once activated (or once the licence key is issued), because they cannot be returned or resold. TSS renewals are non-refundable once applied to your licence.
  3. Defective licence exception: if a licence we supplied does not activate, is invalid, or is not the edition, version or user count you ordered, we will fix it, replace it with the correct licence, or give a full refund. Please report this within 7 days of delivery.
  4. Wrong details given by you: if a licence is activated on a wrong email, account or company name that you gave us, we will try to help with the publisher's transfer process, but we cannot promise a transfer or a refund.
  5. Upgrades (for example, Silver to Gold) are handled through the publisher's upgrade process and are not a refund of the original licence.
  6. Installation, training and other services bought with a licence follow section 2.

4. Hardware

  1. Cancellation: you can cancel a hardware order free of charge before it is dispatched (or before the installation visit, for products sold with installation). If the item was special-ordered for you, we tell you before ordering if it cannot be cancelled once ordered.
  2. After dispatch: if delivery is later than we promised, you can still cancel for a full refund (see section 1).
  3. Change of mind: hardware is not returnable for change of mind once delivered and opened, or once installed.
  4. Defective, damaged, wrong or not as described: always covered by the defective-goods exception in section 1.
  5. Manufacturer's warranty: after the reporting window in section 1, defects are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We help you raise and follow up the claim with the manufacturer or its authorised service centre.
  6. For returns, please keep the original box, accessories, manuals and invoice where possible. Missing items do not cancel your rights for a genuine defect, but may slow down a manufacturer's claim.

5. NPO products (Shop for a Cause)

  1. 100% of your payment goes directly to the NPO, and the NPO fulfils your order.
  2. Because you pay the NPO directly (using the payment method shown on that NPO's product page) and the NPO is the seller, cancellations, returns and refunds for NPO products are handled by the NPO. Contact the NPO on the phone or WhatsApp number shown on the product page. NetCom does not receive or hold your payment, so it cannot issue the refund itself.
  3. NPOs listed on NetCart agree to take back or refund products that are defective, damaged, wrong or not as described. This applies to every NPO listed on Shop for a Cause.
  4. If you cannot resolve an issue with the NPO, contact us or our Grievance Officer and we will follow it up with the NPO.

6. How refunds are paid

  1. Once a refund is approved, we start it within 7 working days.
  2. Refunds go back to the original payment method (card, UPI, net banking or wallet). Your bank or payment provider may take a further 5 to 7 working days to show it.
  3. If you paid in cash or by bank transfer, we refund by bank transfer or UPI to an account in your name.
  4. Where an order paid to NetCom is refunded, we issue a GST credit note.
  5. We do not deduct any charge from a refund, except the diagnosis charge or non-refundable part cost described in section 2, which we tell you about in advance.
  6. When we refund a whole order, the delivery charge is refunded too. If the ₹50 Standard delivery charge was added to an order with only services or licences, we refund it on request (see the Shipping & Delivery Policy).
