The face of the moon was in shadow
Almost before we knew it, we had left the ground. All their equipment and instruments are alive.Mist enveloped the ship three hours out from port. The spectacle before us was indeed sublime.A red flair silhouetted the jagged edge of a wing.

Data on your devices. When we repair or set up a device, we may see files on it. We do not open, copy or keep your files, except where you ask us to (for example, data backup, migration or recovery), and then only to do that job. Any temporary copy made for the job is deleted when the job is complete and you have accepted it.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive data such as health or biometric data through the Website. Biometric devices we install store data in your system, not ours.
2. Why we use it (purposes and legal basis)
We process personal data on the basis of your consent or, where the DPDP Act allows, for certain legitimate uses (for example, where you voluntarily give us your data for a specific purpose such as an order, or to comply with law).
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Processing orders, booking and delivering services, confirming visits, sending quotes and invoices | You give your data for this purpose (legitimate use) / consent |

We collect only the data we need for these purposes.
3. Consent
- Where we rely on consent, we ask for it clearly, for a specific purpose, and we do not use pre-ticked boxes.
- You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: use the unsubscribe link in our emails, change your cookie choices on the Website, or write to swapnilgharat@nchs.co.in. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and we may still keep data we must keep by law.
- Where the DPDP Rules allow, you may also manage consent through a registered Consent Manager.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:
| Recipient | Why |
|---|---|
| Zoho Corporation (Zoho Commerce, and where used Zoho Books, Inventory, CRM, Bookings, Forms) | Hosting the store, orders, invoicing and customer records, on Zoho's India data centre (Data Processor) |

| Government, tax and law enforcement authorities | Where the law requires |
| Professional advisers (CA, lawyers) | Accounts, audit and legal advice, under confidentiality |
Our Data Processors may only use your data on our instructions and must protect it.
NPO products (Shop for a Cause). NPO products are not paid through NetCart. You pay the NPO directly (using the payment method shown on that NPO's product page, for example UPI to the NPO's own account) and then send your payment confirmation and delivery address to the NPO by phone or WhatsApp. 100% of your payment goes directly to the NPO, and the NPO fulfils your order. The NPO receives your name, phone, address and payment details itself and is a separate Data Fiduciary for that data. We do not receive your payment details for NPO purchases. If you ask us for help with an NPO order, we share only what is needed to follow it up.
5. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in India on Zoho's India data centre, and with our other service providers. Some providers (such as Google and Meta) may process data outside India. Any transfer outside India follows the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Orders, invoices, payment and GST records | As long as tax and accounting law requires (generally 8 years) |
| Service records (job sheets, device receipts, reports, quotes) | For any warranty period plus 3 years, for warranty and dispute handling |
| Account data | While your account is active. As our own practice, if there is no activity for 3 years, we will tell you at least 48 hours before deleting it |
| Marketing consent and newsletter data | Until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe |
| Website analytics | 14 months (Google Analytics setting) |
| Complaints and grievances (our complaint register) | 3 years after the complaint is closed |
We may keep data longer only where the law requires or to deal with a legal claim. After that, we delete or anonymise it.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards, including HTTPS encryption on the Website, access controls on our Zoho accounts, limited staff access on a need-to-know basis, and confidentiality obligations on staff and processors. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your data and review our safeguards regularly.
Data breaches. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required by the DPDP Act and Rules, describing what happened, the likely impact and the steps we are taking.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access: get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it, and the identities of those we have shared it with.
- Correction and completion: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, or update it.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed for the purpose, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent at any time (section 3).
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so.
- Grievance redressal: complain to us, and if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use these rights, write to swapnilgharat@nchs.co.in with the subject "Privacy request", or call +91 99692 07572. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond within the time the DPDP Rules set and in any case within 30 days.
Under the DPDP Act, you also have duties: please give accurate information, do not impersonate anyone, and do not file false or frivolous complaints.
9. Children
NetCart is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not track or target advertising at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use:
- Essential cookies, set by our store platform (Zoho Commerce), needed for the cart, login, checkout and security. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4), to understand how visitors use the site.
- Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel), to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- Rewards widget (Zoho Thrive), which also loads Facebook's software kit. It loads only after you click Accept.
When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you Accept or Reject analytics and advertising cookies. Until you click Accept, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel do not load (we use Google Consent Mode with everything set to "denied" by default). If you click Reject, they stay off. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser.
Choices saved on your device. We save two small settings in your browser's local storage, not on our servers: nc-consent remembers your Accept or Reject choice, and nc-theme remembers the colour theme you pick on the site. Neither is used to track you, and you can delete them by clearing site data in your browser.
We do not use any other analytics, advertising or remarketing tags on the Website. We will update this list before adding any new tag.
11. Links to other sites
The Website links to other sites, such as NPO payment pages, WhatsApp, YouTube and software publishers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
12. Grievance Officer
For any concern about your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:

We give every complaint a ticket number, acknowledge it within 48 hours and resolve it within 1 month of receiving it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will show a notice on the Website or email account holders. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM. "Working day" means Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
Delivery charges at checkout
The checkout shows the delivery options and their charge before you pay. Today these are:
- Standard: ₹50 per order. At present this charge is added to every order, including services and software licences, because of how our store's shipping is set up.
- Pick Up from our service centre in Panvel.
- Express: ₹850.
If you are charged the ₹50 Standard delivery on an order that has nothing physical to deliver (a service or licence only), tell us and we will refund the ₹50.
1. IT services
- Nothing is shipped. Services are delivered by our engineers at your home or office, or at our service centre in Panvel.
- Service area. Onsite visits are available in Panvel (410206) and Kharghar (410210). For other areas, call +91 99692 07572 before booking and we will confirm whether we can help and any travel charge. If you book from outside the service area without checking, we will call you and either agree a charge or cancel with a full refund.
- Confirmation call. After you book online, our office calls you within 1 working hour of booking to confirm. If you book after hours, we call within the first working hour of the next working day. The engineer then calls to agree a visit time and place.
- Visit and turnaround. Turnaround times are shown on each service page and start from the engineer's visit, the pickup, or your walk-in. If a part has to be ordered, the second visit is usually within the time shown on the service page (for example, 2 to 4 working days).
- Service centre jobs. If your device needs to go to our service centre, you get a written receipt listing its condition, serial number and accessories. After the repair we bring it back to you, or you collect it if you walked in. There is no extra pickup or drop charge within the service area unless the service page says so.
- Remote services. Some software and Tally services can be done remotely with your permission, using a remote access tool. We agree the time with you.
- Delays. If we cannot keep the agreed time, we will tell you in advance and offer a new time. If the delay does not suit you, you can cancel for a full refund (see the Returns, Refund & Cancellation Policy).
2. Software and Tally licences
- Electronic delivery only. No physical item is shipped. (See "Delivery charges at checkout" above about the ₹50 Standard charge.)
- TallyPrime licences and TSS renewals are activated on the Tally account or email ID you give us, usually within 1 working day of payment confirmation. We email and/or WhatsApp you the licence details. Please double-check the email ID and company details you give us, because a licence activated on the wrong account may not be transferable.
- Other software licences (for example, antivirus or Microsoft licences) are delivered by email as a licence key or download link, normally within 1 working day.
- Installation is not included with a licence unless you buy an installation service or a bundle that includes it.
- If you have not received your licence within the stated time, contact swapnilgharat@nchs.co.in or +91 99692 07572.
3. Hardware
- Products sold with installation (for example, video door phones, CCTV packages) are delivered and installed by our engineers within the service area, at a time agreed with you.
- Local delivery in Panvel (410206) and Kharghar (410210): normally within 1 to 3 working days of order confirmation, if in stock.
- Pickup: you can choose Pick Up at checkout and collect the item from our service centre in Panvel once we tell you it is ready.
- Outside Panvel and Kharghar: we do not currently ship hardware by courier. If your address is outside our area, call or WhatsApp us before ordering; if you order without checking, we will call you and either agree a pickup or cancel with a full refund.
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay (see "Delivery charges at checkout" above).
- Out-of-stock or special-order items. If an item is not in stock, or a part has to be ordered for your model, we tell you the expected date before you pay or before we order it. If you do not want to wait, you can cancel for a full refund.
- On delivery. Please check the package before accepting it. If it is damaged, opened or tampered with, refuse delivery or note it on the delivery receipt, and take photos. Report any transit damage, missing item or wrong item within 48 hours of delivery (see the Returns, Refund & Cancellation Policy).
- Late delivery. If goods are not delivered within the time we promised, you can cancel for a full refund, including any delivery charge, even after dispatch.
- Risk and ownership pass to you when the goods are delivered to you or your nominee.
4. NPO products (Shop for a Cause)
- 100% of your payment goes directly to the NPO, and the NPO fulfils your order.
- NPO products are not added to the NetCart cart, so NetCart's delivery charges do not apply to them. You pay the NPO directly (using the payment method shown on that NPO's product page) and then call or WhatsApp the NPO with your payment confirmation and delivery address.
- The NPO confirms your order and arranges delivery. It tells you the delivery timing and any delivery charge before you pay or when it confirms your order. NetCom does not charge for NPO deliveries.
- For tracking or delivery questions, contact the NPO using the details on the product page. If you cannot reach the NPO, write to swapnilgharat@nchs.co.in and we will follow up.
5. Contact and grievances
Customer care: swapnilgharat@nchs.co.in · +91 99692 07572 (Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM).
Grievance Officer: Saurabh Somani, Proprietor & Grievance Officer, same phone and email, at the address above. Every complaint gets a ticket number. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 1 month of receipt. Full details are in our Terms of Use.
